The space

Perfect place for kayaking and small boating. In addition fishing here for salmon, trout and sea bass.

Pets

Dogs are welcomed! We do charge 5£ per night per dog. Note that we have free-range (and well-loved!) chickens and ducks roaming about the farm, and we gently request that you keep your pet(s) from disturbing them.

Guest access

You will have the whole cottage to your selves, with a small garden to the front side and back. There is a footpath that takes you across the salt marsh to the river. The river is a tidal estuary and is ideal for fishing and launching small boats. You can even leave a small boat tied up during your stay.

Fishing

The River Tamar is one of the best salmon and sea trout rivers in the southwest of England, with a recorded catch of 298 in 2008. There is excellent fly water on its middle and lower reaches fishing from June to October onwards.

Walking

We are perfectly situated in the Tamar River with plenty of public footpaths on our door step. Explore the local surroundings, great views and interesting wild life. Use the grounds or the local area to take your group out after dark, to explore your surroundings under the stars.

Small boating or kayaking

Bring your own small boat or kayak and enjoy the stunning view of nature. Our cottage has exclusive access to water.
