Driftwood Cottage features a massive flatscreen smart TV, as well as a washing machine for laundry, iron and ironing board.
Moreover, we provide milk, tea, coffee, handmade bread, and eggs from our free-range chickens.
There is a large garden area with outdoor seating, as well as a private footpath that takes you through the salt marsh to the riverbank. The river is a tidal estuary and is ideal for fishing and launching small boats. You can even leave a small boat tied up during your stay!

Absolutely blown away by this place, wish we booked for longer. It even rained a few days we stayed but the views still looked beautiful and the cottage was so warm. It is a labour of love and the whole home feels artistically thought out, I could see someone writing a book or a song there. It feels so peaceful, but also inspiring.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage over Christmas. Beautiful surroundings and, weather permitting, great walks in the immediate vicinity. Lovely warm bread and free range eggs on arrival. Daily highlight was the parade of ducks and visits from the chickens to the door. Jonathan and Audrey were very responsive to any messages and accommodating with regard to requests. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful, peaceful location and perfect for recharging and relaxing. The host has gone above and beyond creating a bespoke and homely haven nestled within a beautiful location, shared with an abundance of wildlife. The tranquil and relaxing environment is something we will look forward to returning to.
